We recommend that you check your household medicine cabinet regularly for leftover medicines. Empty packaging and unused or expired medicines must be deposited in the Punto SIGRE at the pharmacy to guarantee that such leftover or waste materials will be processed in an environmentally-friendly way.

Help protect your health and the environment by using medicines responsibly and disposing of them at the Punto SIGRE when they are no longer necessary.

How to recycle medicines and packaging properly:
» All unused or expired medicines and their packaging must be taken to the Punto SIGRE of the pharmacy.

Any packaging that has been in contact with the medicine (bottles, blisters, tubes, aerosols, ampoules, etc.), even if empty, must be treated in a specific way, which is why it has to be deposited in the Punto SIGRE.

To enable the different kinds types of medicines and the packaging that contained them to be identified and treated correctly, they must be taken to the Punto SIGRE inside their original cardboard box.

» Regardless of whether they contain unused or expired medicines or are empty, these cardboard boxes and different medicine containers must never be disposed of in the blue waste paper container, the yellow packaging bag or the green bottle bank.
